August 29, 2009

1) I realized that I have missing something in my life. I think this also one of the reason why I’m feeling so down.

In this Ramadhan month, I will search for it and hope I’ll be ‘istiqamah’.

2)I’m such a law abiding citizen… Since I parking is always full, I usually have to park at untarred road, I just park and

then I saw a notice from my community member.

I sighed and consider for a while and thought; I would also hate if I can’t park because some car take too much space. So I went to my car and reparked.

BTW good notice because it make to realize that I need to consider for others.

When I looked outside from my office’s window and saw how bright the outside. Later when I went home, I saw clearest and bluest sky. I noticed that I didn’t see blue sky for quite sometimes. I almost forgot that sky can be so blue… Haze really my our sky grey. If there was other blue sky before this, maybe I just didn’t notice. I just feel it has been a long time since I saw blue sky. What a sight…

How internet will save my life…(I mean: my master assignment)

August 18, 2009

Okay I have this assignment from one of my lecture that must use Network Simulator-2. The problem is we need to use LINUX. WHATTTTT???? I am a 60% geek only. I tried linux before when I went for unemployed course but 100% forget about it. All my other classmates were hardworking and already install it and left me who like to delay task. They gave some advice though like use partioning to install, cd and I have my blank but will work it out face and few week later; I google. it seems that there a few solutions and since I’m 60% geek or maybe 50% or 30%, you get the idea I went for the easiest. “Wubi” Install ubuntu like normal window’s application but mine took about 17hrs for installing. Succeed after 2nd tried because I found out it also download the stuff (<- use your own term). 1st time got disconnected.

Now all good but then I couldn’t connect to Internet. I gave tmnet helpdesk a call on how to connect BUT the technical support said he doesn’t know how. Ha??Ha?? They do not have manual for LINUX. They have only Windows and MAC. (I say this is a discrimination!!!) Well know matter since I thought that I can google it and yes, I succeeded. WOW internet really almost have all the answer. I just LOVE internet.

Method: Application-> Accessories->terminal application-> type: sudo pppoeconf ->mine pop a password for my ubuntu username. I typed something and typed but the cursor didn’t move. I tried many time and enter but it stated wrong password. Then it pop in my mind, I just had to type all my password even the cursor didn’t move and press enter. Hahahaha I know now I’m like 5% geek. ->typer streamyx username-> type streamyx password. (I need to retype pon dsl-provider after reboot or p-off to disconnect).

Proudly I’m saying that I post this using LINUX/UBUNTU. I still cannot differntiate between those two.

Okay need to go back trying install NS-2. Sound from my coursemate it is going to be hard. Okay I have the internet close by but I need to complete it this week and now sleepy. Actually I have like a month to solve this but as usual I always proscatine. Help me to break this habit pleas!!!

Question: What is LINUX and UBUNTU?

Tried a gov exam

August 16, 2009

I took gov exam last week before. What, goverment? People know that I never interested with it before but yes, I did have some  change of mind. My heart still the same but since I cannot see light in my current job, I have to seek other.

The exam was PTD exam. Muahahahah. I was sooo underestimate the exam. Even though I borrow some material, I didn’t read it. So the consequence: absolute fail.

1st section. Current/culture issue/anything about world and specifically Malaysia. Objective.  Fail in all those Dewan Rakyat… all that stuffs. ( Am I not patriotic enough?) Current issue no problem because I’m a newspaper reader.

2nd section. Basic math and problem question. Owh I wish that I can calculate using calculator. Damage: about 20 question using machine gun.

3rd section. The easiest!! Comprehension in Malay and English. Objective but there were tricky question.

4th. Essay malay. Steps to overcome or discussion. I don’t my writing improve since SPM and I’ve got A2 for BM. Spoke for itself right?

5th. Essay English. Similar question as above but I’ve got the lowest score for writing compare other categories during IELTS.

So as I said before, fail but I felt angry that I couldn’t score it. My ego said so since I’ve been answering exam ans test. BTW I prefer answer about propagtion loss of wireless transmission than who is/are memeber of federal court.

Six die of ammonia poisoning

By SHAUN HO and JOSHUA FOONG

TANJUNG KARANG: Six people, including a store manager who tried to save a Bangladeshi worker, died from inhaling ammonia that leaked from a faulty refrigeration system at a jetty in Kampung Bagan Pasir here.

Untitled1

Three other Bangladeshi workers who also suffered from the gas leak have been warded at the Tanjung Karang Hospital.

Manager Lim Kian Chew, 35, collapsed after pulling out a Bangladeshi worker who had fainted while working inside a makeshift cooler tank that was used to store fish.

Four other Bangladeshi workers, who joined Lim’s relative Kim Son, 58, and two of his neighbours, Sia Liang Huat, 33, and Gan Ayong, 30, in responding to calls for help, also died in the 8am incident yesterday.

zone: Six people were killed and three others hurt after inhaling ammonia gas that leaked from a faulty refrigeration system at a jetty in Kampung Bagan Pasir.

The noxious ammonia was being used as a refrigerant in the cooler tank.

When firefighters arrived at 9am, they found nine people unconscious and foaming at the mouth next to one of the four cooler tanks in the jetty area.

A firefighter said the smell of ammonia was so strong that he could smell it through his breathing apparatus.

The victims were sent to the hospital where six of them were pronounced dead on arrival.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Soiman Jahid told reporters that residents from 15 houses within 100m of the jetty were ordered to evacuate for several hours until the situation was under control.

“This is the first time we have responded to a case like this in Selangor,” he said.

Three fire engines, including a hazardous materials response team (Hazmat) from Section 15, Shah Alam, were dispatched to the emergency.

Water was used to dissolve the gas contained in the faulty cooler tank and later soda ash was applied to neutralise the liquid ammonia.

Kian Chew managed the store for his elder brother Kian Boon, 38, who sells the fish that is used to make fertiliser.

Kian Boon said the cooling system had leaked before, adding that the salt water caused the refrigerator coils to corrode and he spent RM10,000 in April to change the coils.

“The workers knew the gas was poisonous but they did not know how hazardous it was,” he told The Star reporters.

Sometime workplace is really dangerous place and risky. So play safe even at work place.

However this is not what I want to highlight. I want to say that the employer was really awesome. He tried to safe his employees who are Bangladeshi but sadly he died.

I just wanna say that even there are some cases of employer who abuses their maid but when reading the article, it truly shown that there are really nice and heroic people in Malaysia.

1- Why both neighbours do not close their door? You see, I’m renting a flat which distance from my door and my front neighbour (all boys) a corridor away, so of course I can see them when the door opened. I’m mentioning because I wanted to go out and suddenly saw one of them (look like ready to take a shower) noticing me and move from the living room with certain look. Oh come on, you the one who didn’t close the door. So close it. Shish…

2- I worked out a bit at a gym after months didn’t step into the gym. Dunno when I will step into the gym again. So after finish, went to reception and return the towels and stuff and saw a guy colleague. I said hi and he asked whether I work out or not because he didn’t see me sweat. Of course I didn’t look sweaty because I took a shower but I couldn’t say that because it felt awkward..?

3- Do you found suddenly that make you feeling something, wondering, thinking or want to make a song or come out a story…feeling melancholy. It is not special place but a feeling just sip into your heart.

I dropped by to a housing area waiting for maghrib prayer while going to Japanese class. The building/flats are so high and crowded. The parking was horrendous. It is badly maintained, quite old, and dark at certain place. I’ve been thinking how anyone could be living like this? I was feeling trap when I was there. It was like you hard to breath.

But then I was seeing this one field which right in the middle and surrounded by the buildings and the boys were playing around and seemed really happy. A group played football and older group playing volleyball. They didn’t seem trapped. They are seemed happy and content. So I guess even in uncomfortable condition, you can find a bit of happiness if you want it.

Field that surrounded by building. Luckily still have green.

Actually wanna capture boys playing sports but afraid of misunderstood as stalker. So empty court.
