I just found out about tv series called Sherlock. Right after I knew it, I searched and watched it. Yup, I’m crazy about Sherlock Holmes. I read the compilation of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, saw both movies, well actually bought the vcd, and I slightly can recall that I watched a few episodes of classic Sherlock Holmes when I was younger. (even when I was at young age, I was a TV addict).
Guess which one is Sherlock Holmes? so obvious.
This is modernized version of Sherlock Holmes. They maintained all the characters in Sherlock Holmes but the background is in 21st century. The cases were inspired by the Sherlock story but they changed and adapted it to be suitable for current environment. As what happened in the book, Dr. Watson accidentally become Sherlock Holmes’s housemate after he was back from army. His psychiatrist suggested to him to write his life in a blog (in book, that would be in a journal). So this series follows Holmes and Watson in solving mysteries together or most of the time together. However the series is really short, only 3 episodes which one case per episode.
I love the series and I had goosebumps when Sherlock made a deduction on pilot episode. Sadly the series is too short.
