Some blues

I should feel happy for them but I was feeling blues. I called 3 my closest fren and I’m OK now. Just need a break and and recollect my thought.
I’ll be fine and thank gurls.
Oh BTW, don’t read too much on previous post about my crush. I wasn’t that serious.

I had Sukiyaki during lecture break

Hot...hot...I was smoked

I tried this sukiyaki at Tenpayaki at Jusco, Setiawangsa/AU2. I learnt a few lesson:

1) Never eat sukiyaki alone. Unable to finish…Repeat…never alone

2) I hate when the vapor of the soup clouded my spectacle. It’s hard to maitain cool during this time. I felt extra dosage of being nerdy. (Especially all the waiters/cooks are guy).

3) Total nice for someone who likes soup and vegetables. A lot of them and very less of meat.

Life update or downdate

1) A few days before, my long no contact fren IM. I realized that it has been long time since we met or talked. So today I made a called just to check on her.
Then she remind me of ‘funky pop party’ during my undergraduate.OMG I can’t stop laughing when I remember that time. HAhahaha.. The ‘attire’, the small room, ‘bihun sup’ in rice cooker, change present, decoration…how that theme came to me and a fren of mine at that time was a mystery but most of my hostel mates likes to remind me of that party and ever loving WFL (sad that no longer around). Still remember the attire…hahahahaha..sweet memory gurls.

2) Congratulation to Wa for your good news. I’m happy but hope that you will not be too far. If still far, must come to KL.

3)My Japanese sensei asked me to come out wiz Japanes name for myself, then I asked Roha-chan, she suggested Miyuki. Nice isn’t? Then sensei gave me options how to write my name in Kanji.

1-no meaning
2-beautiful happiness and I chose

3-Beautiful snow. My sensei said I was romantic. I chose it because I  familliar with kanji of snow and another reason is yes, I feel beautiful snow is nice…uuh..uuh.. I’m romantic and hope that I can see snow one day.

Single woman dilemma…

I received a called from my ex-schoolmate. She invited me to go for her wedding ceremony. I didn’t filter my response to her you see, everything came out from my heart.

She: I’m getting married. That is why I called…
me: when?
She: This 26 June 2009
me: Why? Why so suddenly?
She: Have been planning since Dec last year.
me: Now left me the only one…’Tinggal sorang’
She: There is 1 more… (in my mind: she doesn’t count OK, she didn’t complete form five with us)
me: How could u?… Okay I’m going.

You see, girls in my class only 10 girls and you guessed it, it seems that I am going to be the only unmarried girl. Last wedding, we were 2. My feeling right now: No fun. I will have a record now as the last on unmarried girl classmates. Muaahhahahahah…or isk..isk..isk.

She said I’m choosy. Well maybe I do, i’m going to tell all and let you decide. Not going to tell before university, too ancient:

1) Long a go a mechanic asked me for dinner, I said no for dinner but I said OK for lunch on week end but he gave choice of dinner or he wouldn’t pursue. He never called afterwards. (Afraid of going out wiz stranger at night)

2) Play YM, friendster and met up at KLCC. Never contacted again afterward. (I felt guilty since I didn’t contact him but then I realized he also didn’t contact me. He is now married)

3) A prank/want to know you/random sms or called but hanged up called. (Owh come one…why should I entertained this.)

4) In Facebook, asked to be ‘adik angkat’. What!!What!! Think I’m a 15 yrs old? and so random. Sheeesh.

5) A long…long time a go. A practical trainee asked me for lunch. Just both of us. Yes I went but I showed no further interest after he smoked infront of me. (But a plus point for so relax asking me for lunch. Bravo)

6) I have a crush. He is a techinician and I don’t mind this. Why? I found out that it is easy to talk with him. I don’t think he has any idea of this and I also do not want to have anything more. Why? He is a smoker. What a waste, if not maybe I going to ask him bowling/dinner/lunch…wait…together with friends.

Then no more any close/far encounter. What do you think? Am I too choosy?

Lychee

Can’t you believe that I had my first my time taste a original lychee… I meant not from cocktail, can, drink but the fruit itself. I didn’t know why I didn’t try before.
I didn’t expect that it is so juicy and watery when ate by itself. A bit similar as rambutan but rambutan not as watery.
Silly…hehehe

Movie review coming up…

Uuuh…long time I didn’t post. The reason this time is I was  lazy. Muahahaha and there was nothing much. So as usual when nothing much, I will post movie reviews. Oh come on, don’t start yawning.

Slumdog Millionaire

When the movie started and it shows the slump area, I was really shocked and stunned. How should I describe it, so surreal but it exist in India. I had a mix feeling for this movie, I felt that the story was great but depressing at the same time. The journey was never comfortable but the idea of sticking to first love was nice. I understand why this movie got all the attention and won the academy awards.

So the movie about Kamal on the way to win Who Want to be The Millionaire and there will always flashback how he able to knows the answers. Soon the story folded on how he and his brother together with his first sweetheart lived their life when they left with only themselve. How they became to that also a sad story.

Yes it kinda depressing but luckily it is happy ending. The child’s scene was better than the grown up. Owh by the way I like the multiple question which describe the movie.

How come a man from a slump area can win Who Want to be millionaire?

Yes Man

A Jim Carrey’s movie. Need I say more? Story about Jim was divorced and having a boring life. Then his life change when he follow one rule from famous motivational speaker. To say yes to every question coming to him. So this when the fun started. Imagine he has to say yes to everything, eventually his life became better, found new love, promotion, and understood the real meaning of saying yes.

This movie was OK and I was laughing on some scene but the scene between Jim and his new love was nice. This movie make me wanna try do the same thing but then  I was thinking of money, stability, time and it stop me. How I wish I have the courage.

Star Trek

I watched the movie with Wawa-chan and Roha-chan, so even if the movie s***, it still OK since I watched with them. I can’t remember how come I could watched this with them…firstly they trying to meet up and watched this secrectly since they thought I couldn’t make it but I called Roha-chan and found out. I think twice before agreeing to go because I already have appointment but Star Strek was lingering in my mind, so I made them to book 4 me even though I couldn’t sit beside them. Luckily I was only infront of them. BTW side position in cinema giving me headache. I have to lean to wall to make it OK.

Threesome is better than 2some. What will ppl imagine. Hehehe, sorry this came in my mind that time.

Where was I…I like the movie. It was so worth it. Eventhough it is different than normal Star Strek but as the movie  itself, it was nice. Full of action, nice characters and nice story. Owh did I forget to mentiuon that it also funny. A plus point. I was LOL so much at fencing and especially at Wiktor…Wiktor..Hahahaha.

Okay the movie set up a different timeline when father of James T. Kirk who was captain of Enterprise Starfleet died when hero, James T Kirk just born. So he became a rebel and danger seaker and how he managed to be a Enterprise Starship captain, and please it far away than normal procedure.

The movie was fun and now I no longer afraid to say that I was and am Star Strek fan. I followed Star Trek: The Next Generation tv series. I like the blind Engineer (Sorry forgot his name. What a fan…)

Twilight

I start to feel lazy to continue but don’t want to postpone it. I’m going to do short movie after this. Aiiiih…writing takes so much time.

Okay what ever people say about this movie is true. Yes it look cheap. People also said it is lacked of storyline. It was also slow but this movie really have something that make people like it so much such as Robbert Pattinson, yes he is a handsome chap, didn’t realize he was Cedric in Harry Potter, forbiden love between vampire and human, vampire’s power, cute vampires, what else…okay I can’t really think anymore now but people and I really dig it. This movie makes cheesy love declaration seems OK…

The Other Bylean Sister

People review it as too melodramatic and not really follow the history but for me the movie was OK. Story about 2 sisters seducing the King because their family asked them so that they can power and money. One was nice sister and another one not so nice sister. Base on real history but I think with touch up.

Changeling

Angela Jolie  got a problem with authority when she reported her son was missing. Then the police said they found her son but she found out that the boy not really her son. That was where her problem started. Based on true story.

The movie was OK and Angelina Jolie was nominated for academy awards for this movie.

Australia

Too theratical and I do not know the direction of this movie. It felt forced but still can be watched. Hugh Jackman was nice….

Nicole Kidman, a lady came to Australia to find her husband but later she decided to finished of her late husband’s intention with help of Hugh and they fall in love. They have to overcome a lot of obstacles before really together.

But the cow boy part really nice..hehehe

Setan Budeg

I watched this with my colleague. Firstly when they chose this movie to watch, I was like huh???What?? Come on… but I wanted to socialize with them, so I just go ahead but I had a surprice. I was laughing really hard and the cinema was full of laughter from the audience.

It is actually Indonesian movie about a friend of body collector. Their work to collect body and since nature of their job, a lot of spooky incidents but since the movie is comedy, they made it scary and funny and the story also resolve on the setan budeg (hantu pekak/deaf ghost).

I was laughing so much but there were moment that eeeeuuuuuwwww  and why always scene girl in shower. Yes  many times. My friend described it as movie gatal (pervert).

Rating: 3.5/5 because it made me had an unpretentious laugh
