Sherlock season 4

So finally I watched Sherlock season 4. I waited for it because I just kinda didn’t have mood after watching it especially the review from many people was like shaking head or giving it a meh. My opinion of the review was yup agree with the rest reviewer. The case or mystery has big twist but it just felt like trying to hard to be brilliant.

The mystery for this time is the return of Prof Moriarty who was dead in later season and I had to reread again synopsis in Wikipedia because I forget the rest of mini case about and recalled that the drama was quite heavy but why I didn’t recalled it. See…I told you that Sherlock season 4 just not as it used to.

So for this season: A big twist but just didn’t feeling it.

Very..very short vacation at De Rhu Beach Resort

I booked a night at the hotel because it was public holiday and the next day was Khairi’s hospital appointment. So the resort was chosen because it offered a king bed which can fit all of us with a certain budget and with pool because Khairi would love it.

The hotel was just okay but truly felt underwhelming. I got the room at discounted price but still think the room was pricier that it should be and the reason was, the resort looked old. I guess they think that new face or renovation wasn’t needed or they didn’t have money which I don’t think so. Even their slides at swimming were properly maintained or not repaired.

However, the resort wasn’t too bad, we slept just fine even though I felt a part of the bed wanna fell off. And Khairi was so excited with the swimming. He truly enjoyed it.

Oh the specialist at hospital said Khairi was fine. Next appointment will be after 6 months.

The Haunting of Hill House review

I watched this 10 episodes in like 2-3 days. During my younger years, this is not binge because 10 episodes wold be half a day but now, 3 days are count binge watching for me. I really like this show and want to discuss it to other person but none of my friend into English tv  series. So I made do with watching review, explained video about The Haunting of Hill House in youtube even though I understand the story just fine.

The story is about sibling with Steven the eldest, Shirley, Theo, Luke and Nell (twin) who have heavy issue like depression, addition, and so on due to something that happened during childhood since they lived in a mansion which they called Hill House, especially when their mother died which was the biggest mystery for the children till their grew up. There was a lot of mysteries like incidents, paranormal sighting and so that haunted them even till they became adult.

OMG, sometimes I clicked pause because I was so scared that what might happened. Some totally giving me the creep. I waited till I gathered enough courage to click play the series. Uugggh…recalling some..shiver.

There are 2 episodes that so brilliant. On due to revelation that when it hit me, my jaw dropped literally. The other one brilliant was I found out that they made continues take. Amazing right?

The minus for this story was sometimes it is a bit slow. I recommended this to may sister but she told me that it is boring after 20mins watched. I just her tell to continue watching it. The ending was also not as good as the brilliant episodes but passable and I didn’t feel scared anymore after half part, just not as scary as part half first part.

Overall, a very good horror with more on psychological thriller instead of only supernatural horror.
